How to add location in google maps Via Pc , Android or iPhone

Google maps are one of the popular maps of modern times and it is almost used by every person nowadays. New Taxi services like Uber, (Careem in Pakistan) are using it to reach out to there customers and take them to there destinations. However google maps are also used by regular drivers and other people when they search for a place.

 So Being a businessman or any other Entrepreneur or if you own any other organization it is necessary to add your organization in google map so it could be search if someone wants to search your location. So there could be a lot of advantages of adding something to google maps. So here how you can add your own location in google maps. 

Add a missing place to the map:

You can publicly add places, like a business or landmark, to the map. On some devices, you can also add the address of a house or apartment.

To add a missing place, follow the steps below.

Android Users: 

1. Open the Google Maps app . LINK 
2. Tap Menu   Send feedback  Add a missing place.
3. Choose an option, then follow the instructions onscreen.

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app 
2. Tap Menu  Send feedback  Add a missing address.
3. Choose an option, then follow the onscreen instructions.

How long it takes to see changes:

When you edit or add a place to a map, we may take some time to review the info before updates are made.

Computer Users: 

Search for an address

1. On your computer, open Google Maps.
2. Search for an address.
3. Click Add a missing place.

Notes:

• Name, location, and category of the place are required. Other attributes aren't required, but might help to speed up the review process.
• To quickly find your home on the map, set your home address. No one else can see your home unless you choose to share it.

Search for an address

Drop a pin

1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app 
2. To drop a pin, touch and hold anywhere on the map.
3. At the bottom, tap the address or "dropped pin."
4. Tap Add a missing place.
